This free seminar will include presentations and video of the sicklefin redhorse and other redhorse (fish) species. The sicklefin redhorse is a unique fish that was only fairly recently recognized by biologists as a separate species. Currently it only lives in the Hiwassee and Little Tennessee River basins. Learn from the experts in both Georgia & North Carolina about this interesting watershed resident and ongoing efforts to conserve the fish by expanding its range. Light refreshments will be served.
